Since I can remember I've had more than a keen interest in the mysteries of life, searching for those things that make sense of the chaos that I witness in inner and outer life. I have found the greatest nourishment to be in the languages of the heart.

In 2002 I visited The Pilion Centre in Greece, a centre for alternative workshops and holidays run with an emphasis on community practices, and a daily meeting in council. A fter two further years of inspiring and supportive experience, I eventually organised a work camp twice a year, have been part of, and run daily attunements and talking circles, worked on staff and given workshops on Council and related themes with other leaders called Building Authentic Community. I facilitate a talking circle Way Of Council for 5-rhythms dancers in Brighton, where I have danced for the past nine years. Since then I have facilitated workshops and drop-in sessions, both here in the UK and abroad.

Similar to the Native American Way of Council, I undertook a first training in 2006 as a facilitator for the FORUM that the ZEGG community have developed over two decades, as a tool for group and individual transparency in the area of personal expression, decision-making and conflict resolution.

I have practiced the disciplines of yoga and meditation for over twenty years, lectured on reality, practice and teach a 9-day self-development training since 1995 known as the Avatar Course. My most recent training was the senior 13-day course of the Avatar materials, completed in January 08.

Additional trainings include Illustration and occasional design for twenty years, (author and creator of several children’s books) Acting, Reflexology, Homeopathy, Primitive Survival Skills and Performance poetry. I am interested in Men and Womens's work, Rites of passage, Initiation. I have been visiting and work-exchanging in some communities around Europe. These include Findhorn in Scotland, Osho Leela and the Threshold centre, Grimstone, Braziers, Earthworm, ZEGG in Germany, Damanhur in Italy and Pilion Centaur in Greece.

It continues to be my belief that living, creating and living an example in the way of intentional community is worthwhile and may if successful, contribute to a growing movement and model as a sustainable and balanced present and future.
